In recent years, we have seen a great influx of many local and nationally known music festivals pop up all over the place to not only give the general public more music, but a couple bursts of “fresh air” in regards to what people can expect. One in particular, that has been getting considerable buzz and in some respects, rivaling the more prominent Essence Music Festival, is the Cincinnati Music Festival.
Formerly known as the Macy’s Music Festival, and the Ohio Valley Jazz Festival for decades before that, the Cincinnati Music Festival not only revealed their 2015 lineup Monday, but also announced the start of a new headline partnership with Cincinnati-based Procter & Gamble.
The annual event is the nation’s second-largest annual rhythm and blues music festival, and it attracts more than 50,000 people from across the country to Paul Brown Stadium. This will be the 53rd year Cincinnati has hosted the celebration.
This year’s festival will take place July 24-25 at Paul Brown Stadium. Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster, with a breakdown of the nightly lineups is listed below:
