Baltimore’s Annual African American Festival Set For June 20-21

Summer festival season is in full swing people and the one that really gets things started in the DMV area, is the Baltimore African American Festival, referred to locally as AFRAM.

The festival is a FREE celebration of African American life, music and culture. This family-oriented event is filled with celebrity artists and entertainers, children’s activities, arts, history, education, financial literacy, health & wellness and more. Held on the grounds of Camden Yards Sports Complex, this year the festivities will take place on the weekend of June 20-21, 2015.

In the recent wake of the “unrest” in the city from the whole Freddie Gray situation and the riots that it caused and the way that the city was depicted via media all across the World, we are more than happy to see this event shed some good light and positivity to the city.

As with every year, the event has TWO stages to watch some top notch performers do what they do best, and we want to let you know the full lineup and schedule of everyone so that you won’t miss YOUR fave!
