One of the country’s newest and biggest music festival is making a return for it’s third year. Starting in 2012, the Made In America festival was founded and announced by hip-hop and business mogul Jay-Z as a way to bring together music and culture. The festival usually features three stages of live music: Rocky Stage, Liberty Stage, and Freedom Tent (a tent that features primarily electronic music) on Philadelphia’s Ben Franklin Parkway. In addition to music, the festival also features an array of vendors, food trucks, carnival games, refillable water stations, and portable toilets.
For the 2014 iteration, the announcement was made that the Made in America festival would take place not only in Philadelphia, but in Los Angeles as well during Labor Day weekend. With Summer quickly approaching, many people are wondering what the plans are for this year…are they having a festival and who are the artist? Well some of your questions may be answered now.
Made In America 2015 will take place during Labor Day Weekend, September 5-6, with only the Philadelphia location being mentioned, although we are sure that they will extend it to the West Coast again as that was a successful operation. No word has been made yet on the lineup of artist to perform, although tickets for the 2Day pass will be going on sale soon on Ticketmaster. Check back with us regularly to get more info on who the artist lineup will be and other brewing details.
EDIT: the artist lineup has been announced for the show, and it’s packing a MAJOR punch! Headlining this year are Beyonce, The Weeknd and J.Cole, but take a look at the FULL lineup.
