The summer continues to heat up, so does the number of music festivals. I guess it’s time to add one more to the pot. This time, it’s more about the hits and the creators of the hits because it’s dedicated to all the artists who are currently heating up their legendary Hot 100 charts.
Billboard has just announced the formation of it’s new Hot 100 Music Festival, which has borrowed the name from it’s hugely popular Hot 100 music chart. The A-list lineup of performers will be taking place at Jones Beach Theater in New York on August 22-23.
The show, which is being produced in a joint partnership between Billboard and LiveNation, will feature 40+ performers spread across three separate stages over the course of the jam-packed two days and will be headlined by Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, The Weeknd, Lil Wayne and many more.
General ticket sales don’t start until July 16th at 10 a.m., UNLESS of course you are a Mastercard holder, then you’re entitled to the Masterpass pre-sale which starts on July 13 and runs through July 15. Tickets can be purchased from Ticketmaster.
