We are just one week removed from Brooklyn’s AFROpunk festival, which was a spectacle with the likes of Grace Jones, Lenny Kravitz, and Lauryn Hill, and all the smoke hasn’t cleared from that event before the creators behind AFROpunk have hit us with another dose of afro-centric realness.
Starting this fall, for the first time ever, there will be an Atlanta iteration of the AFROpunk festival taking place Saturday, October 3rd and Sunday, October 4th at Atlanta’s Central Park.
The lineup will be just as outstanding as the New York festival, with D’Angelo and the Vanguard ,Flying Lotus, Santigold, Tyler, The Creator; Death Grips, Public Enemy, Twin Shadow, Danny Brown, Benjamin Booker, Suicidal Tendencies, Trash Talk, Kaytranada, Big Freedia and Saul Williams headlining.
General admission tickets start at $79 for the weekend and $289 for a VIP weekend pass and are currently on sale. Check the full roaster of performing artist below.
