These past couple of days have been full of surprises, containing things that we wanted to hear (Beyonce’s new album “Lemonade“) and some news that was gut wrenching at the least (The untimely death of the legendary “Purple One”) Prince.

Now we have some more news coming in today that is a bit of a surprise, but not really. We don’t really consider it a surprise because we KNEW it was coming, but just had no details of when it really would pop off.

Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum selling artist Drake will launch the DRAKE: SUMMER SIXTEEN TOUR with special guest, Future in support of his brand new album, Views From The 6. The North American tour, promoted exclusively by Live Nation, will kick off on Wednesday, July 20 in Austin, Tex. and visit over 30 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada with multiple shows scheduled in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and Houston. Other cities on the DRAKE: SUMMER SIXTEEN TOUR include Toronto, Philadelphia, Vancouver, Boston, Atlanta, Washington DC and more.

Tickets for the show go on sale to the general public Friday, April 29th, but if you have the presale code, you can slide in for a special set of tickets due to hit the markets tomorrow, April 26th. Purchase all tickets via Ticketmaster.
