Ro James Gives The Green Light On His Solo ‘XIX’ Tour

Ro James seems to have given us some well needed permission. What type of permission you may be asking…we see it as the permission to fall back in love with R&B music.

With what’s been a hellova year for James, as his break out hit “Permission” had a nice impact on urban radio, and releasing his major album ‘Eldorado‘ he’s continuing to keep the momentum going. After opening for Maxwell and MJB on the King and Queen of Hearts Tour, he has just announced his own headlining tour.

The XIX Tour will kick off February 3, 2017 in Portland, OR, and shows him playing gigs all over the US before wrapping up in Memphis in March.

Tickets for these shows hit the market on Friday, December 16th at 10 AM local time via Super fans can also cop VIP packages, which may include meet & greets at

Lionel Richie Launches ‘All The Hits’ Tour With Mariah Carey

Ok, lets add this to the list of things we DIDN’T see coming. In announcement made just this morning, one of the legends of R&B music, Mr. Lionel Richie has made an extension to his ever ongoing ‘All The Hits‘ series of tours that he’s done over the year. On past versions of the show, he’s gone out on the road by himself, and other times he’s brought along a special guest. For 2017, it looks like he’s bringing one of his friends with a HIGH amount of star power.

In an interesting pairing, The Elusive Chanteuse, Ms. Mariah Carey will be an addition to his tour. Mimi has been all over the place in regards to live shows on her own as of lately, so it’s rather surprising that she’s on this show bill.

Joint tours have been seeming to work in really good favor for some artists as of lately. Mary J. Blige & Maxwell‘s ‘King & Queen of Hearts’ Tour has done exceptionally well. My only question about the ‘hits’ tour is WHO will be the headliner?

Anyways, the 35 city North American tour kicks off on March 15th in Baltimore, MD at the Royal Farms Arena before finishing up in May.

Presale tickets went on sale today at 4 PM for her Lambs through her Honey B. fan access website, while general tickets hit the market Saturday, December 17th via Live Nation. If you have a devout Mariah or Lionel fan in your life, this would be the PERFECT holiday gift to get them! Peep all the tour dates below.

NKOTB Announces The Total Package Tour With Boyz II Men & Paula Abdul

There are some artists who reigned in ‘yesteryear’ who are either nowhere to be found or all over the place. New Kids On The Block certainly fall in the category of the latter. Despite their last number one hit album or song being in the 1990’s, they still have the juice to not only tour, but tour arenas and sell them out. That says a LOT to their buying and lasting power.

In an announcement made this morning on NBC’s Today Show, the 5 “bros” from Boston have concocted “The Total Package Tour”, which like most of their past tour jaunts, will feature other popular musical artists from their main era of prominence. Joining them for this time will be R&B trio Boyz II Men and Ms. Paula Abdul, someone we haven’t seen on a touring stage in over 25 years.
