Coachella 2017 Lineupe Revealed…Beyoncé, Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar Headline

Well well well, it seems as if the 2017 Coachella Music Festival is fully stacked this year. The annual festival which literally takes place in the middle of the desert doesn’t need ANY help with keeping things hot, as the dry heat usually takes care of that, but this year will be a scorcher with the help of some pretty hot artist.

Taking on the task of headlining the two weekend festival are the Queen Bey herself, Beyoncé, along with Kendrick Lamar and Radiohead. As we know, the internets today are a savage place when it comes to finding out information, and for some time now, there have been some rumors and hype around Beyoncé actually taking a crack at performing, and they seemed to have proven to be true. This will also be K.Dot’s first time headlining the infamous fest.

The festival takes place April 14-16 and April 21-23 in Indio, Calif, and it looks pretty evident that they have upped the ante in comparison to past years. The remaining lineup is packed full of music from all genres, so you won’t be skimped out on any musical greatness at all.

If you’re interested in snagging some passes, you HAVE to act fast as these are an extremely hot ticket item, but they won’t be cheap. The baseline ticket will be the 3-day general admission pass, which starts at $399, but if you want to feel extra special, you can cop a VIP pass for $899. Tickets for both weekends go on sale Wednesday, January 4th at 8 AM EST via Coachella’s official site.

This was pretty much a no-brainer, with a sell out summer tour and being one of the biggest artist of this generation, everybody wants to see

Currently, she’s in the midst, albeit the beginning, of the Formation Tour and she’s setting her eyes on extending the jaunt already. There have been quite a few shows added to what is now going to be a Fall leg of the tour.

Recently she had to cancel a performance in Nashville, TN for unknown reasons, but is making up for it by adding the date to the revamped tour schedule. Along with the Nashville show, she’s added another date to the New York area, Philly, Atlanta, and her hometown of Houston.

We can’t say that we aren’t surprised by this, because the Formation tour is on par to be one of the biggest tours of 2016. Tickets go on sale May 13th via Ticketmaster for anyone interested, but act fast, because they will sell out, again.

Beyoncé Adds DJ Khaled To The ‘Formation’ Tour

It’s interesting how people or things can read your mind. Just last night I was pondering on the fact of how many A-List touring artist are ditching the use of opening acts, and solely relying on a pre-made playlist to keep concert goers occupied until they hit the stage. Beyoncé has been one of those artist that over the past years have used this same formula.

Ever the one to change things up, she’s just done so with the ‘Formation’ Tour, exactly one week from it’s start date. DJ Khaled just posted via his IG and now infamous Snapchat, that he will be the opening act for Queen Bey.

This has to be exciting news for the “We The Best” hit maker, as the tour kicks off next Wednesday in his hometown of Miami.  We know that he can create some dope beats and rock a crowd. It would be interesting to see that a song collaboration would come of his opening stint.

Either way, major congrats are in order for Khaled and the whole We The Best fam, because this can continue to open major doors for him and his stable.

Beyonce And Pearl Jam Headline The Global Citizen Festival

global cit

It’s a good thing when you can have a party with a purpose, but it’s an even BETTER thing when you can have a concert with a purpose. That seems to be exactly what the folks over at Global Citizen seem to be after.

Earlier this year, they sponsored the Global Citizen Earth Day concert in Washington, DC to celebrate “Mother Earth” and help continue with the initiatives to preserve the planet and make people aware of the effects of doing so. It’s just been released that they are bringing back the Global Citizen Festival, which champions and fights to end poverty and inequality around the world.

The Global Citizen Festival is a free-ticketed event on the Great Lawn in Central Park in New York City on Saturday, September 26, 2015. The Festival is timed to coincide with the launch of the United Nations’ new Global Goals designed to fight inequality, protect our planet and end extreme poverty by 2030. The Global Citizen Festival will channel the power of hundreds of thousands of global citizens lending their voices to achieve policy and financial commitments that will shape the success of these Goals.

To make things even more exciting, Beyonce, Pearl Jam, Ed Sheeran and Cold Play will be the headliners of this event. Although tickets ARE free, they won’t be easy to win, you’ll have to do multitude of “tasks” to win your ticket. Hop on over to Global Citizen’s website for all your details.

Beyoncé Headlines The Budweiser Made In America Festival September 5-6 2015

MIA logo

One of the country’s newest and biggest music festival is making a return for it’s third year. Starting in 2012, the Made In America festival was founded and announced by hip-hop and business mogul Jay-Z as a way to bring together music and culture.  The festival usually features three stages of live music: Rocky Stage, Liberty Stage, and Freedom Tent (a tent that features primarily electronic music) on Philadelphia’s Ben Franklin Parkway. In addition to music, the festival also features an array of vendors, food trucks, carnival games, refillable water stations, and portable toilets.

For the 2014 iteration, the announcement was made that the Made in America festival would take place not only in Philadelphia, but in Los Angeles as well during Labor Day weekend. With Summer quickly approaching, many people are wondering what the plans are for this year…are they having a festival and who are the artist? Well some of your questions may be answered now.

Made In America 2015 will take place during Labor Day Weekend, September 5-6, with only the Philadelphia location being mentioned, although we are sure that they will extend it to the West Coast again as that was a successful operation. No word has been made yet on the lineup of artist to perform, although tickets for the 2Day pass will be going on sale soon on Ticketmaster. Check back with us regularly to get more info on who the artist lineup will be and other brewing details.

EDIT: the artist lineup has been announced for the show, and it’s packing a MAJOR punch! Headlining this year are Beyonce, The Weeknd and J.Cole, but take a look at the FULL lineup.

Rumor: DC3 To Tour 10 Years After Parting Ways

In 2005, fans of super group, Destiny’s Child, were devastated when the group announced their separation during the ‘Destiny Fulfilled and Lovin It‘ tour. However, rumor has it that the ladies are reuniting for their ten year anniversary and plan to release a new album along with their touring plans.

After their reunion at the ‘Stellars‘ rumors started to swirl around about the upcoming reunion but according to the Daily Mail, the girls will not be using the Destiny’s Child name for their upcoming project. A source has said that the reason for this is to exclude Matthew Knowles from profiting from the upcoming reunion. Knowles owns a quarter of the Destiny’s Child name and using that name would result in what could be a major payout for Matthew.

Regardless of what their name choice may be, for what is bound to be a record breaking phenomenon, DC3 fans prayers have been answered. That is if the rumors are true. *crosses fingers*
