Is Jodeci Making A Comeback To Include A Tour…We Think So!

What are the thoughts that pop in your head when you hear the name “Jodeci”? I know when I think about it, a couple words and phrases come to mind, “bad boys”, “feel good QUALITY music”, “new jack swing”, “sanging” and the list goes on. During the 25 years that K-Ci, JoJo, Devante, and Mr. Dalvin have been the collective unit that make up Jodeci, they’ve done many notable things, from multi-platinum albums, sold out tours, product endorsements and everything inbetween, until it all just stopped in 1995.

After an 18-year hiatus, the timing is finally right for the North Carolina quartet that changed the look and sound of popular urban music with three albums and hits “Forever My Lady,” “Come and Talk to Me” and “Freakin You'” to bless its audience with some newness. Much of which is fueled by their highly talked about reunion performance that happened at the 2014 Soul Train Awards. For many of the artist that once dominated in the early 90’s, there is always talk about a comeback, which most people want to equate to an album, but honestly most of those acts who are resurfacing after many years make a more wise business decision to head out on the road and touring again. Case and point is what’s happening with Jodeci.

While the fellas have yet to release a formal confirmation of a tour happening, our sources have started to reveal that the band is going to be hitting various markets across the United States this Summer, starting in Richmond, VA.  Check out some of the dates below to see if they will be near you, or if you want to go out and find them. Ciara Kicks Off ‘Jackie’ Tour In May

FINALLY the time has come for the #CSquad to rejoice. For what’s been in the woodwork for the past 6 years, Ciara announces that she’s going on a national tour, entitled the Jackie Tour, starting the first week of May in Chicago.

Named after her forthcoming album, this tour will be her FIRST solo headlining tour since 2006’s “The Evolution” tour that was a predecessor to the album of same name. Over the years, people have been wanting and waiting for the pop belle to hit the road, since she’s known for her stage show.

We here at Concert Daily got a little tip off (and are happy) about the tour on Saturday when a Ticketmaster notification was sent to us saying that she would be performing at the Fillmore in Silver Spring on May 9th, so this just further confirms that the tour is coming to fruition. Dates have been slowly rolling out, but these are what’s been released thus far. STAY LOCKED to Concert Daily as we will keep you up to date on all the additional dates. Get your tickets from Live Nation.
